Daily Seasonal Breakfast
Guests can enjoy a generous breakfast in the dining room between 7:30-9:00 each morning. Breakfast includes our home-made breads, fruit toast, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, espresso coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a selection of daily baked items including muffins, ham and cheese croissants and quiches. Savour fresh seasonal fruit from our own fruit trees and enjoy locally made jams and preserves
Relax in front of the fireplace on a cold winter’s day with a book from the library or enjoy a game of chess or boardgame. Familarise yourself with the local area and its history by browsing through one of the many coffee table books.
Wifi is complimentary throughout Walton House should you need to connect to the world.

If you are interested in going on any local tours we are happy to make the booking for you. We are also happy to make dinner reservations and taxi bookings for those special occasions
There is a laundromat in Huonville, but as we all know it is very time wasting waiting for washing and drying to be completed when you could be out exploring the beautiful Huon Valley. We will wash, dry and fold a load of washing for $15.

Check In begins at 2pm, and Check Out at 10am. Please let us know if you have special requirements.
If for any reason you need to cancel your stay, we will attempt to find a suitable re-booking slot. Cancellations within 24 hours of your stay are non-refundable. Cancellations within 1 week incur a 50% surcharge, and 1+ week cancellations are free of charge.
Walton House is a No-Smoking Property, although designated smoking areas are available.
We regret we are unable to accommodate pets.
For the comfort of our other guests, please consider noise levels after 10pm at night.

Take some time to wonder at the majestic scenery along the Huon River, take a hike on many of the trails and grab a coffee and snack at one of the picturesque towns dotted along the river and D’Entrecasteaux Channel.
