Walton House is a picturesque, small and family operated accommodation in the heart of the Huon Valley. It offers a modern take on the traditional bed and breakfast experience for travellers seeking both comfort and independence. A simple breakfast pack is included with your stay, allowing you to settle in on arrival and enjoy your first morning at your own pace, with the flexibility to enjoy breakfast in your room or explore the many beautiful cafés and dining options across the Valley.

The property, situated close to Huonville and near the tranquil Huon River, offers a peaceful blend of small town convenience with easy access to beaches, mountains, and local attractions across the Huon Valley.
Two large, private and beautifully appointed guest suites sit adjacent to the main residence, where your hosts are on site. Guests access the accommodation via a dedicated keypad entrance, opening into a shared guest lounge with a cosy fireplace. Rooms are thoughtfully appointed, with a welcoming touch of local flavour including Tasmanian fudge on arrival.

*Each stay includes a light breakfast pack on arrival. Additional packs can be purchased at the property.

*Two guest suites are available, with shared guest spaces including the lounge and courtyard. To book the entire guest accommodation, simply book both suites at the same time.

Courtyard and BBQ Area

Guests have exclusive use of the lounge and dining room, as well as the courtyard with a barbecue. Sit outside and enjoy the sun on a warm day, or wrap up with one of our rugs while enjoying a glass of local wine.

There is plenty of local produce to explore across the Huon Valley. Gather something delicious on your travels and enjoy it back at the property as you settle in for the evening.

Complimentary allocated guest parking is available for all our guests. Located directly adjacent to the main entry of the accommodation, with sensor lighting ensuring access anytime of day.

Each room comes equipped with a kitchenette, which includes Tea & Coffee making facilities, mini fridge and microwave.

Payments and Cancellations

We accept Visa and MasterCard. Payments are processed at time of check-in (or if you cancel within our cancellation period).
If you would prefer to pay via direct deposit, please contact us to pre-arrange. If you choose to pay via direct deposit, the payment must be cleared before your arrival.

Cancellations within 48 hours of your stay will be fully payable. (2pm cut off). Cancellations within 3 days incur a one-night charge. Free cancellation at other times.

Guest Lounge

This space is shared by all guests staying with us. It leads to both suites and is a wonderful place to relax in front of the fireplace on a cold winter’s day with a book from the library or to enjoy a game of cards or board-game.
Familiarise yourself with the local area by planning your sightseeing for the next day, or read one of our many coffee table books or magazines.

Bedroom Comforts

Quality Queen-sized beds. Every comfort is afforded with luxury linens, plush towels, and deluxe toiletries.

Library & Board Games

Read a book from the library (or the one you brought from home), or enjoy a card or board game.

SMOKING : Walton House is STRICTLY a Non-Smoking Property.

PETS : We are unable to accommodate pets. (Please contact us if you are travelling with your PAT certified/training assistance dog).

NOISE : For the comfort of our other guests, please consider noise levels at all times.

CHILDREN : Our property is generally not suitable for CHILDREN or INFANTS.

PAYMENTS : Payments are processed at time of check-in (or if you cancel within our cancellation period).

DAMAGES :
All damages and theft will be charged at replacement value. You will be responsible for treating the property and furnishings with care, and leave the property in a reasonably clean manner. Cleaning Fee's will be charged if excess cleaning is required, at the discretion of the owner/operator.
